Personal Information Protection Policy

 

The Japan Organization for Exosome Medicine Promotion (hereinafter referred to as "the Organization") recognizes the importance of personal information and has established a basic policy for handling personal information from the perspective of protecting the privacy of its members.

In order to handle members' personal information appropriately, the Association collects personal information by legal and fair means to the extent necessary for its operation in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Policy, and uses and provides personal information within the scope of the intended use. 

 In addition, the Association will take reasonable organizational and technical preventive and corrective measures against risks such as unauthorized access, loss, and leakage of all personal information handled within the Association, and will also periodically audit and otherwise review its personal information protection policy to ensure that it is continuously improved.

 

1. definition of personal information

Personal information is defined as information that can be used to easily identify a specific individual, such as the name and date of birth of a member or non-member related to the activities of the association.

 

2. purpose of use of personal information

The Association will use members' personal information only for the following purposes and will not use it for any other purposes. 

When we need to send you our publications such as abstracts or various information by any means.

When the association needs to contact members for any reason.

When we need to conduct some kind of analysis to improve our business.

 

3. management of personal information

Personal information of members will be handled with the utmost care and strictly managed.

 

4. provision and disclosure of personal information

Personal information of members will not be provided or disclosed to third parties except in the following cases 

When the member consents to such disclosur

When disclosure is requested by a public agency in accordance with laws and regulations

When the minimum necessary information is provided to a third party such as a subcontractor who has signed a nondisclosure agreement with the association.

 

5. amendment of privacy policy

The Association will continuously improve its handling of personal information under the direction of the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The Privacy Policy is subject to change without notice, and any changes will be posted on the association's website.
